I first met Gilda as a participant, at a workshop. She struck me as an extremely confident and knowledgeable person. I’ve since had several occasions to interact with her both for professional and personal reasons. Simply put, the proof of a good counsellor lies in making us ‘feel better’, to get tangible strategies for often intangible and unarticulated feelings and thoughts which cause stress, anxiety and depression at a given moment in time or a phase in one’s life. Gilda is able to provide these strategies, and, in the kindest most empathetic way. Gilda makes you feel better, and for me, that is what excellent counselling is about. I have no hesitation in saying that she has every quality and qualifications as a practitioner for mental health.
